WE HAVE THREE WEDDING MENU OPTIONS

The Whitehouse Inn catering team are here to make sure that your special day has a menu choice for you.

We now offer a choice of three wedding menu options for you to choose from.

Wedding Menu One

  • Starters - Home-made tomato & basil soup served with a crusty roll.
    Farmhouse pate served with sour dough bread and onion marmalade.
    Traditional prawn cocktail served with bread and butter.
  • Main Courses - Guests are served with choices of meat as a traditional roast dinner either served from the carvery unit or to your tables.
  • Desserts - Choose from a high range of quality sweets from our cabinet.
  • Menu price £25 per head to include a drink as a toast or entrance.

Wedding Menu Two

  • Starters - Farmhouse pate served with sour dough bread and onion marmalade.
    Artisan bread and a selection of dips.
    Home-made soup served with focaccia bread. Cod goujons served with home-made tartare sauce
  • Main Courses - Chicken breast with a wild mushroom and tarragon sauce.
    Roasted silver-side beef with a home-made Yorkshire and a roasted garlic and red wine sauce.
    Home-made steak and ale short crust pie and traditional gravy.
    Fillet of cod lightly breaded with a creamy lemon and white wine sauce.
    All served with fresh seasonal potatoes and vegetables.
  • Desserts - Choose from a high range of quality sweets from our cabinet.
  • Menu price £30 per head to include a drink as a toast or entrance.

Wedding Menu Three

  • Starters - Roasted belly pork with parsnip purée, pea shoots and honey & thyme ju.
    Home-made butter nut squash soup with truffle oil and herby croutons.
    Smoked mackerel salad with horseradish cream and pickled fresh beetroot.
    Tomato, basil and halloumi bruschetta.
  • Main Courses - Home-made Wellington with fillet beef and a port sauce and seasonal potatoes and vegetables.
    Stir fried duck with sugar snap peas and asparagus with honey, soya and ginger dressing.
    Red onion, red pepper and Goat’s cheese tartlet with a rocket, pine nut and balsamic glaze.
    Pan roasted Sea bass with chorizo, red onion and vine cherry tomatoes with pomme puree
