Wedding Menu Options


The Whitehouse Inn catering team are here to make sure that your special day has a menu choice for you.

We now offer a choice of three wedding menu options for you to choose from.

Wedding Menu One

  • Starters - Potted dill prawns, served with a lemon dressed salad and warmed brown bread.
    Leek and potato soup with artisan bread rolls.
    Home made chicken liver and bay leaf pate, redcurrant jam and toasted wholemeal bread.
  • Main Courses - Choose from 2 meats, vegetarian option or our home made pie of the day served from our carvery, all with your own selection of fresh vegetables and rosemary roasted potatoes.
  • Desserts - Choose from our wide range of handmade desserts either in our dessert cabinet or from our menu.
  • All For £15.95 per head.
  • If your guests would like to enjoy this special day even more, our luxury lodge will accommodate them at a discount rate.

Wedding Menu Two

  • Starters - Warmed garlic and lemon king prawn cocktail served with toasted bread rolls.
    Homemade roasted tomato, basil and crème fraiche soup.
    Homemade Cornish chicken liver pate, red onion marmalade served with toasted sour dough bread.
    Sliced smoked duck breast on a pine nut and rocket salad with toasted artisan bread and a redcurrant dressing.
  • Main Courses - Oven roasted chicken breast, roasted turned potatoes with a wild mushroom and thyme gravy.
    Pan fried lamb cutlets, on a bed of creamy mash potato, red wine sauce.
    Cornish fillet of beef, pont neuf potatoes served with a rich port jus.
    Monkfish wrapped in pancetta served with crushed and roasted new potatoes and a lemon and ginger reduction.
    Roasted red pepper, parmesan, artichoke hearts and roasted vine tomato risotto topped with balsamic glaze.
    All served with fresh seasonal vegetables.
  • Desserts - Decadent lemon and white chocolate cheesecake.
    Homemade fruits of the forest meringue nests and Cornish clotted cream.
    Mango and orange pannacotta with a citrus fruit sorbet.
    Strawberry, milk chocolate and champagne roulade.

Wedding Menu Three

  • Starters - Roasted belly pork with parsnip purée, pea shoots and honey & thyme ju.
    Home-made butter nut squash soup with truffle oil and herby croutons.
    Smoked mackerel salad with horseradish cream and pickled fresh beetroot.
    Tomato, basil and halloumi bruschetta.
  • Main Courses - Home-made Wellington with fillet beef and a port sauce and seasonal potatoes and vegetables.
    Stir fried duck with sugar snap peas and asparagus with honey, soya and ginger dressing.
    Red onion, red pepper and Goat’s cheese tartlet with a rocket, pine nut and balsamic glaze.
    Pan roasted Sea bass with chorizo, red onion and vine cherry tomatoes with pomme puree
  • Desserts - Choose from a high range of quality sweets from our cabinet.
  • Menu price £35 per head to include a drink as a toast or entrance.
